Located just outside of the quaint town of Forsyth, Montana, in Eastern Montana, Rose's Agates has been in business for nearly 80 years. Perry Leary's mother, Rose, began cutting rocks when he was a young child, and he has carried her love of rocks with him throughout his life. Perry and his wife Sherry have lived on their homestead for decades where Rose's Agates first began and have continued the business well into their golden years.
Rose's Agates offers bulk and whole rocks by the pound, including Montana Agates, Moss Agate, Petrified Wood, Fossils, and more. Polished stones and slabs are available for purchase, as well as cabochons and a variety of stone jewelry and accessories. Perry also offers cutting services on select pieces purchased on-site.

Rose's Agates specializes in Montana agates, from whole rocks and slabs to polished cabochons and stones, with many harvested along the Yellowstone River and throughout Eastern Montana. You will also find fossils, petrified wood, and other interesting specimens from throughout the region available for purchase.

Special rocks have been transformed into polished slabs and cabs, hand-cut by Perry himself and used in jewelry (earrings, necklaces, bracelets), belt buckles. bolo ties, and more. Perry's collection spans decades-you never know what you might find!
